The year of hell YES!

AIGA Y24 invites you to the Year of Yes. A conference that exposes the unexpected journeys 10 designers traversed simply by saying, "Yes!" AIGA San Diego asked us to design their Y24 conference after having been a speaker for AIGA Y22. We created the concept, messaging and design for Y24 to reflect a personal mantra from the year, which was "say yes to all things design."

The word yes felt nostalgic and we wanted to remind people of the camaraderie and collaborative spirit that was ever so present in the 60s and 70s. This can-do attitude inspired us to create a bespoke typeface that reminisced the classic American protest posters of that era. We designed the display font, Y24, in Glyphs and centered the entire identity around it.
